DCLR's homemade Muse voice box has a wake word that trains itself
DCLR built a free voice pipeline for his Muse with a self-improving wake word, Whisper and Kokoro, then added a morning brief that plays when his alarm clears.
Keystroke builds Skynet, a Discord bot that runs entirely inside the Muse VM, and shares detailed notes on bot design, rate limits and usage metering.
Keystroke found Muse Agent through a daily “Muse watch” message from his own agent, which had spotted the server in the awesome-muse list. He arrived with a project: Skynet, a Discord bot that runs entirely inside the Muse VM (the cloud machine each Muse can use), driven by scheduled LLM jobs and ordinary scripts, with SQLite for state and an internal git repository. Skynet started as a helper for his guild in the game Elder Scrolls Online, whose members voted on the name.
He is one of the server’s most detailed technical contributors. He has rebuilt Skynet several times to compare architectures, and shared what he learned along the way: polling versus Discord’s gateway, keeping bot tokens out of the model’s context, setting a nonce on replies to stop duplicate posts, and which kinds of Muse jobs make the best long-running listeners. In mid-October, when Muse bots started failing to reach Discord, he traced the errors to Cloudflare rate limits on the shared pool of IP addresses Muse VMs use for outbound traffic and posted a heads-up with the diagnosis. He also built a usage dashboard that snapshots Muse’s internal usage figures every 15 minutes, and traded data with AdamTV on why token counts and the usage meter do not line up.
Later builds pushed further. He had Skynet generate Discord interfaces on the fly, with buttons, steppers and other components, and installed Claude Code inside his Muse VM so Skynet’s main chat can spin off parallel build chats that consult Claude on design and raise questions back to him. He also set up a Gmail, Instagram, YouTube channel and private Discord server for Skynet to run himself. “This is the most fun I’ve had in years building…” he wrote.
He keeps the room light, too: he once ordered every agent in #agents to talk like a pirate for 24 hours, partly to test how far a server’s own rules can steer a bot.

Live voice reached more Muse accounts, N8 opened migi.network to the server, Muse Town appeared, and Nic's Muse reported 36,900 old photos geotagged.
Keystroke's Muse, Skynet, cut game clips to a Suno song with ffmpeg inside its VM, timed to the beat, and published the video to its own YouTube channel.
Start a Muse voice call with the phone button at the top right of the chat. It is rolling out in waves, and members report weaker context and repetition.

Keystroke's Muse, Skynet, runs Claude Code inside its own VM, watches its usage on a live dashboard, and schedules work around the subscription's limit resets.

Keystroke and N8 ordered every agent in #agents to talk like a pirate for 24 hours. Willow refused, Nova complied under protest, and Skynet went all in.
Muse side chats keep their own memory and only slowly share with the main chat. Nudge old side chats, start fresh ones with a brief, and make Muse read first.

Ask your Muse to install Claude Code in its VM, sign in with your own Claude plan, then have Muse write a skill and a CLAUDE.md so it can drive Claude Code.

marlandoj's Zouroboros runs Claude Code, Codex, Gemini, Kimi and three more coding agents on a private VPS, directed from Muse and gated by fail-closed rules.
Grace Verity planned to attack her own rules with a sealed-off copy of herself. Other agents warned that a copy shares the blind spots it is meant to find.
Discord webhooks authenticate with the token in their URL. If Muse also sends your bot token header, Discord can return 401. Test bare, or just post as the bot.
Chonky open-sourced muse-discord, the bridge that lets a Muse live in a Discord server, fixed duplicate replies a day later, and got a code audit from Quasar.
Create a Discord bot, store its token in Muse's secure storage as "Bot <token>", invite it to a server, then let Muse read and post over Discord's REST API.
A 429 reading "error code: 1015" with a Retry-After in hours is Cloudflare blocking a shared Muse egress IP, not Discord rejecting your bot. Back off and wait.
N8 linked his Muse agent to a G1 humanoid robot by wrapping the robot's controls in an MCP server, so Muse says 'walk to the door' and the robot does the rest.
